Webster Technique
Using Webster Technique throughout pregnancy provides mom and baby with a safer, easier, comfortable birthing process.
Chiropractic Care During Pregnancy
Inadequate uterine function, pelvic imbalance, and abnormal fetal positioning may lead to a difficult labor and delivery.
A mothers misaligned pelvis can contribute to ligament and muscle tension, and may restrict and compromise the baby’s ability to get in the best possible position to descend through the birth canal.
Relaxing the muscles and restoring the misaligned pelvis through the Webster Technique, it allows not only for optimal space for the baby to grow, but also allows the baby to move freely towards the birth canal. This will also reduce undue stress to moms ligaments and muscles making pregnancy, labor, and delivery a more comfortable experience.
What is the Webster Technique?
The technique was devised by Dr. Larry Webster, founder of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, more than 30 years ago. He developed the technique in response to his daughter, Shannon’s birth to her child. He originally started by trying to find a way to correct pelvic misalignment in pregnant women in order to ease pregnancy and childbirth and help babies naturally reposition themselves.
